Greetings everyone,
You will noticed, lot more new stuff up for sale, and we still haven’t got to the end of it.
This year, in November 2010 it will 10 years, since we started putting in on the net.
John Dix and Dot had arrived up from Queens Town to hang out with me, in fact, they stayed at my place, reconnected.
And while this was happening we decided to explore on what to do with my memorabilia. The first problem we encountered was there was so much of it. It has taken us all this time to slowly get through 75% of it
John Dix left 2004 and went on, to do many other interesting things in the music business, one of them The Parihaka Festival.
I got remarried in 2002, and in 2004 moved to Gisborne to start work in The Treaty Settlement process. Just moving the memorabilia alone was a great struggle. So it is never been a full time operation.
So now its 10 years, since we started, time for celebration.
I am 67 now, and I can’t see how I could ever sell it all before I depart this world.
I want to thank everybody who has purchased from my collections from all around the world.
So to celebrate this 10 years, and all the work, that’s gone into it from so many people, we are going to have a special two months, starting in December 2010 and finishing in January 2011.
There will be special deals, discounts!
Most of all, I have been holding back on some very special pieces;
· One being the largest collection of The David Bowie “Moonlighting Tour, New Zealand 1983”, some 20 pieces, I think?
· Some special “Herbs” one off pieces and lots of other stuff.
God willing I can summon up the energy to do all this, with the help from Riza, in our Jakarta office, and Yanti Lynn in Gisborne, our New Zealand office.
But I have to admit, I am starting to feel tired now…too many years of Rock n Roll.
It would be nice to relax back a bit.
In the past I have had enquires would I like to sell everything in one hit? I have always said “NO”.
But I am starting to think differently now.
